Today was a fun day. Picked up 6 boxes this morning. First box rocked, every roll had at least one silver coin, 63 silver coins pulled... 8 of them being Bens.

Box 1: 51, 2 x 60, 4 x 62, 1 x 63, 4 x 64, 9 x 65, 5 x 66, 15 x 67, 12 x 68, 9 x 69
Box 2: skunk
Box 3: skunk
Box 4: 5 x 67, 2 x 68, 2 x 69
Box 5: 64, 66, 68
Box 6: 64, 65, 67

Excellent day SC. Your right about the first box rocking!!! Kudos.

I haven't seen that many Frankies in a box in..........loooong time!

Nice score! I am not sure if it would have been better to have the most silvers in the first box or the last box. I usually prefer it to be in the first, so I know that I at least did not get skunked.

Good score once again!

That first box was a sweeeeeeet feeling. I was glad it came in the first box, it was a great way to start the day.

In my humble opinion, a cache like that is more common than a spread. Because the 60's saw the last silver coins produced. and a lot of people that didn't really collect coins just horded the 1/2 dollars. They were probably in their 30's and had family's.

Now in their 70's they are slowly dying off and their family's left to clean out their closet find a small stash of coins in with their belongings and simply cash them in at the bank not knowing about silver content or value.

Please do yourself a favor, and if you have a stash of coin, leave some sort of note with them or instructions to your heirs.
