Monday I stopped at the Credit Union I work at and bought 2 boxes of dimes. Then on to the bank that has been selling me their lobby coin machine bags. They had a $500 bag of dimes and a $500 bag of quarters, I took them both.
No silver in the quarter bag but I found the last statehood quarter (New Mexico-P) that I needed to complete my 2 albums.
My wife searched the bag Monday night while I was at work and found a 1941 Mercury dime, 1956-D, 1957, and 1963-D silver Roosevelts. Also found our first 2009-P dime.
Finding the Merc motivated her and she searched the dime boxes Tuesday. Box 1 had a 1943 Mercury dime, 1946-D, 1958-D, and 1963-D Roosevelts.
Box 2 had a 46, 46-D, and a 54.
Wednesday went to dump the dimes and quarters and was able to pick up a $171 bag of halves from a counting machine and a single roll. 1 1967 total.
After the good box we had last week we asked my buy bank to order 2 boxes this week. They got me my 2 boxes and also a $500 bag of dimes.
Box 1 was another good box. Opened it and had Ben Franklin looking back at me. The next to the last roll my wife opened she found a Walker on the bottom end of the roll. Total for the box was a 1935 Walker, 1954-D Franklin, 1x64, 1x64-D, 1x1965, 2x1967, 1x1968-D, 1x1969-D, 2x2003-P, and a 2005-S Proof.
Box 2 not nearly as good but not a skunk. 1x1964, 1x1965, 2x1966, and a 2005-D
I was also asking for 2009 cents at every bank I went to this week. 1 told me they didn't have any yet, all the others said they weren't going to participate in the program and wouldn't be ordering any. The price for boxes has fallen on e-Bay but it looks like they are going to be hard to find for some time.
