I found these two shotgun shell tops and I know there are people on here that are really know these things. I found these on my families property in south Georgia. They look to be old to me but I know nothing about them and am looking for help trying to put a year to them. You guys are great and always have the answers. Thanks.

That winchester ranger shell was discontinued in the 1940's

Winchester has brought back the ranger brand recently but it is for "Law Enforcement Use" but you can find the new shells at gunshows for about 10-20 bucks a box.

Nice finds

Yes T D, you're lucky to live north (Duluth-?) where you won't get St Cloud's expected 6" to 10" of snow forcast for tomorrow morn through early evening. And (3) 1910 houses were razed today.....the foundations will be dug up tomorrow. Heck, I had my battery (DFX) charged just for this.
