If you saw Markpa's post with that sweet 59 Indian you know I went last night for about 1 1/2 hours with them to our old spot..(off the beaten path), anyway I got skunked I did find the watzit it the photo, that looks like it might be a cuffling, gold on small piece and says sterling back on the other..
Anyway today I had some time so I went to and old defunct park in the area for 1 1/2 hours, (I know its hunted out). The park is so full of beer cans and junk it about made me sick, but I got lucky and hit a small area about 10 x 20 that I pulled some coins. The park is from the 40s-60s so the finds are not real old here..

I pulled 2 Mercs (1) 1940 s and (1) 1945
7 Wheat's 55,48,38,56,50,45,51, but the ground was not kind to them..
Oh and a pile of S%@#...hehe

Enjoy TnT

Those look like Pacific northwest wheats!!!! I have a handful here somewhere. Ya look at them and say "Yep! Thats a wheat....dang it sure is ugly" It's always fun finding them though and SOMETIMES you get lucky and get a great one. I have a newer clad penny I am going to have to find and post...I call it my half cent. Zinc coin eaten by the elements but you can see the date perfectly. Man that made my day. NOT!

Great job on the silver!

Best o' luck
