Was preparing to go speak tomorrow at our local Lion' Club about metal detecting when I found some coins from an earlier hunt that I had put in a container. I had been in a hurry and just forgot about them. They were actually from two day's hunts about a month ago. It had been a muddy day and most of these looked pretty rough but there were three wheaties, a very rough looking 42 war nickel and a super green crusty 1905 IHP. I was very surprised on the war nickel and the IHP. That is the 2nd war nickel from this site that looked awful but the dirt here at this site is lousy on coins. I'll still take em though.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who temporarily loses stuff.
