Three days before Christmas? December??? First day of winter!?! And I got out for a
short walk!? Even found something?!? Yeah, I win. :)

Maybe an indication of some age? :icon_scratch:

This little beaded chain was a bit of a surprise.
I was certain it was just one of those chain pulls from an
overhead light bulb. I also was sure it was just steel. But,
when I got it home I found that the whole thing is
completely non-magnetic! The beads, the metal links, even the clasp.

I figure aluminum but, it actually seems too heavy. It came out of the
ground looking as it does.

Anyway, a winning day.

Thanks for peeking!

Congrats on getting out.
I'm going up to visit my sister in upstate N.Y. for Christmas. I hope to get in a hunt on Christmas day.

This will be a year to remember for the weather. Any day you swing the coil is a great day in my eyes. I am looking forward to a 4 day weekend.

If the little chain wasn't a recent drop, maybe it is brass? El Niño is my favorite immigrant!

Hell yea man.
In my book,,, if ya get up and out you win.
Gotta keep moving folks, Sitting still sucks, get that heart rate up,,
take a walk, do ANYTHING but stay inside in front of that damn TV or PC screen.
Finding stuff is the reward/payment for those actions.
(see, karma works). lol

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL

Very nice walk you had!
Congrats on finds!

The reading on your detector for the chain may tell you what the metal is made of. Some years back the bead necklace was popular for a while, all different lengths, sizes, & colors.
I think I figured out how to vote banner from info in the help section....either that or I will be "reporting" somebody! Lol

False alarm....still can't vote banner. :banghead:

I the detector's VDI reads around 49. That's what made me think aluminum first. But, somehow it just seems to heavy for that and it isn't brass.

If you vote banner on this I'll be VERY disappointed in you! LOL
Merry Christmas!
