Went out for a 1/2 day yesterday and hit some Colonial items. Not sure about the coin, looks like a Hibernia but it is very small, about the size of a modern penny. Any ideas on what it is and possible age? The button I have soaking to hope find out what is on it. It looks like some script letters but does have stars going around them, not sure about this one, I hope it can be identified. The one copper piece looks at though it was for a medal or something and the other copper loop think also not sure about.

Can't see a thing on the back side, but given smaller size, think farthing, Brit GEO II about 24mm or just shy of an inch.

Good finds.

More likely a farthing based on the size description. Nice find.
