I headed back to the site of the old Brougham Hotel for 4 hours today. I decided to detect the 'backyards' of a couple of the properties adjacent to the hotel property; this is where I found the modern coins and the poker chip. There used to be houses here until about 5 years ago when they were torn down. Only finding modern junk here, I wondered further into the fields out back, this is where I found most of the other relics.
The amber 'Poison' bottle came out of the same hole as the three other pieces of iron; I'm surprised it survived intact! I found a suspender clip with a couple of early patent dates on it and what I at first thought was a buckle, but now I don't know what it is?!
I'll post the 'buckle' piece and the 'Y' iron relic in the 'What Is It' section,
as I have no idea what these are from!
Thanks for looking and Have a Happy Easter!
Dave
PS. I spilled the dog food on the kitchen floor yesterday!
