Didn't find much today, went to a set of woods where there is a old house or building of some sort. Only thing left is a chimney and some bricks. Was hoping to find some coins but didn't. Not gonna give up on the spot quite yet. This was my first woods hunt and boy it's nothing like hunting the parks, it's a lot harder. Here's the couple of things I found they ain't nothin special but it was a fun day none the less. Boy we need some rain here SC to soften up the ground a bit.

looks like a bullet in your photo -- is the area your looking at --- a hunting area (modern muzzle loader) or a possible civil war era site? Ivan

Well not quite sure if there is civil war activity there or not, I'm not real good at figuring out the history of places and what went on there. I can find the history of Florence but specific woods haven't quite got that down pat yet. Yes both items on the bottom are bullets. Sorry about the poor quality of photos heres one more of the bullet on the right. I have a hard time gettin close ups of the items.

I think your smart to try the woods.Seems like every park I;ve tried here has been mined out long ago.All I ever find is modern clad.Atleast in the woods theres a good chance of finding something old.God Bless and HH..Panz
