Howdy all,
Got out for about an hour and a half today. First stop, the old boy scout lodge (or rather, the woods behind it). Found a boy scout handkerchief slide (not sure if it's old or modern) and a '55 wheatie. Next stop, a large park in town. Decided to hit a new area and came up with one of those new dollar coins (John Quincy Adams) with the "In God We Trust" engraved on the edge. The last item made my day, however, as it was an old makeup compact made by the Elmo Sales Corp.
Hoping to get back out in about 15 minutes for another short hunt before it gets dark. I'm trying to get in a bit of detecting here and there between my job and packing stuff up for our move to Redding. Just another 13 days!
