Very cool that Ash pulled through. When I first read this ordeal it really pissed me off. I was waiting and hoping that the news was going to be good but after days went by with no further updates from you I thought you may have lost Ash. It shows his will to carry on. Great news PMG... I know you want to get even but remember what good will that do other than possibly land yourself in jail. Be gratefull he pulled through.

I had a really good friend who confronted his neighbor in regards to a barking dog. My friend was very tolerable but as the weeks dragged on and the barking continued he too took matters into his own hands and ended up dead and the neighbor being put away for life. Two entire families lives were shattered over something that could have been avoided. It’s just not worth it considering the impact it can have.

I now know who did this to my dog. He is a prospector who works the Placerville area. A friend of mine spoke to him and played it out like he (my friend) was happy to have heard Ash had been poisoned. The reason was that this individual just doesn't like my preferred breed of dog. Lets just say, that prospecting the Black Hills will no longer be easy for this man. He will need to give up or move to another state. An associate just sent a weeks worth of this mans cons straight down Rapid Creek. Deep V full of color. Lucky for him, his box got stuck in the bend.

That just outrages me that people would do that, let me know if you want to set up an elborate plan I'm from way out state so they won't suspect me as easily. :)

I'd setup a scope and silencer next to the camera or dump a skunk in their camp after you break their arms and legs. Skunks and fire ants

Ooooo. Ok while they sleep .... Aahhh never mind I can tell you later

Prayers for a good recovery and swift justice.

I could file a police report in his town if that would help in any way not sure how laws work. Doesn't seem right he gets away with trying to kill a dog because he left town. Let me know.

Nice looking pit.
My pit girl had black, brown, white, tan, all colors but had to put her down 6 months ago because of cancer.
You can find those go pro cameras, and many on ebay for cheap.
Set him up. Do not let your dog out at night,or day without supervision.
And, mess up his life to make him move.
Check Amazon, Get Even: The complete book of Dirty Tricks-------A overview of the methods people use to get even with business, government and enemies. These dirty tricks range from the simple to the elaborate, including more sophisticated schemes devised by CIA and Mafia members and political dirty tricksters.

I am buying one for myself to just have for future reference.
I was a boy scout, "Always Be Prepared".
And, its the owners, not the dog. My pit, and my boys each have a pit, never attacked or bit anyone.
Not saying they wont if someone comes in my yard, because they had better not, just saying.
Glad the dogs great. If ever again, vitamin K counter acts the rat poison. Read up on it, and keep it around.

Repeatedly dab the door handle of his car with mercury.

Careless fellow ... should've been more cautious ...

Looks like this is evolving ...

Yay Ash!

... and ...

Lets prevent this from happening to another dog.

I hate people who'd hurt a dog.

Lol you guys aren't reading the thread right the guy who did it bailed to calif, while the knee jerk reaction is to get revenge there is probably a legal rational way to get the guy in trouble. I think a better idea if we can get his name and pic we should put wanted posters of him all over placerville, or wherever he lives now. Obviously such a person has no guilt or remorse but if people in his everyday life knew it could have ramifications. Just a thought.

Oh, yea.

Say, I am in Cali. What's he driving?

JK ... I'm in So. Cal.

But, I really like your idea about outing him.

Even if we just PM amongst ourselves.

Good to hear that Ash pulled through. I can't post what I would have done, but you should take your time; think it through. Oh, and if you know any pig farmers you should stop by and say hello every now and then.
