Ha, yes, my ear is pierced, but I would end up looking at the world sideways if I wore that thing! To dig it up I used a tiny little trowel I've been using for over 20 years -the end is all round and smooth from all the shoving it into the earth, and I don't sharpen it. It's the best digger I've ever tried.
