My roommate and I just started CRH, and our first (shared) box was a skunk. We're picking up another box tomorrow. We found something interesting in the box though, two of the halves were punch-stamped on the obverse, with the letters DCM on the right side of Kennedy's head, and a number on the left side (3 and 52). Does anyone know what this means? What do you guys think of it?

for CRH? There were only 2 in one Brinks box. It seems like a lot of trouble just to mark coins, a sharpie seems a lot better.

I got a stamped half dollar that says

"G.E.N.A. 9 19 85" on it, a bicentennial half dollar. If only coins could talk...

In the US, yes, only if you are not trying to deface it to pass the coin as some other denomination (ex. rubbing the edge of a penny to turn it into dime sized for vending machine). It is illegal in Canada, though.
