Anyone on here live close by. Looking for someone to go detecting with.
Once in a blue moon I'll see someone with a detector, but I don't think there from around here, and I'm in the car headed somewhere else.
Just about wherever I go it seems to be a vigian area. Alwas digging up stuff.
The problem I have is this part of Ohio it was settaled late, because it was part of the Great Black Swamp.
Lots of Indian stuff if you know what your looking for.
Still find lots of rings and coins dating back to the 40's and a few from the late 1800's. Oh yes the all valuable pull tab.
Speaking of pull tabs.
At work someone had put out this little Ronald McDonald house to put the newer style pull tabs in. The person told me that the pull tabs are pure aluminum and they get more money per pound for them, and the money goes to the Ronald McDonald house for kids.
So guess where all those lovely pull tabs go that I find.

My kids donate the pull tabs to charities at school. So at least when I find these valuable items (what I find most of anyway) I put them in the zip lock bag for donation!

Southeastern Ohio is where I started detecting many decades ago. It was all virgin then- You should not complain. I would buy some topo maps for 50 cents each and locate all the old churches and school houses on the maps I would then hop on my motorcycle and detect all day. Always came back with pockets full of coins.

Keep looking- should be someone else detecting near you.
