4 Hours on the beach. The 3 "new" 2-Euro coins were picked up in the same whole. I guess somebody lost them just the other day...

The weather was gray, very windy, almost cold. No rain, though... Eastern holidays just started. A pity for our people working in tourism on our coast, right now...

1. a copper or brass BOOK MARKER ("Reader's Digest" ?)
2. 9.90 Euro = 11.80 USD
3. 0.50 Belgian Frank (they are EVERYWHERE, grrrr !)
4. key ring, new, lost today or just a couple of days ago
5. "lock to put inside a lock"
6. lead ball from a SHRAPNEL, invented by HENRY SHRAPNEL, that little Devil. Souvenir of World War I ?
7. Very new black marker "ROTRING", in perfect condition. How could I leave it behind, snif ?

All kind of toys : an octopus, a sneaking soldier (wounded !), 2 vehicles (damaged !), etc.

Soldier has interesting uniform. Sleeves rolled up, thick, wool-looking rolled socks and shorts. Is that a Belgian uniform? Neat finds

It seems like a WORLD WAR II soldier, fighting in the desert against ROMMEL. Just look at that old rifle ! And you are right, of course, he is in shorts !

The little lead ball I found came from a shrapnel, used in WW I.

Hello Ray-King !

I don't know about the plastic toys. There is so "much" (hahahaha) ON the beach but nobody seems to notice it. So, if it is not too big I pick it up to put it into my picture, to add some "couleur locale" to it.

I hope you are ok ; here it is getting colder & colder every day ! I hope my X-Terra 50 is frostprove.
