First time out on a new spot- haven't learned it yet. Odd lot of stuff popping up.
A 1906 V-cent, and I'm pretty sure the item to the left of cent is silver- maybe a piece of eight... the rest no idea... any suggestions???

Sounds like a good spot for hunting, the top left item looks like a bell? and the top middle item looks like the button clasps I find? Good luck on your next trip, !

Cool stuff. The gear looks like part of the mechanism that makes the bell ring like you would find on a bicycle hanldebar. There's got to be much more there. :icon_sunny:

The "O" oval item could be a grommet from an old canvas tent and the gear might be from a clock. Just a guess.

The flattened metal blob may be a Spanish cob, but very well worn.

While checking out the pecan orchards, don't forget to look for surface truffles. Tuber lyonii is well-known from red-clay soils and pecan trees.
