You must have stepped back into 1858 :tongue3: or dug these on an island with the richest of sand and soil, that is the most cleanest dime i ever seen come outta the ground, looks like it was just minted. Those South Carolina's are in great great condition also, i havent dug such a great looking SC since i was on an island in SC hunting few years ago, the recent ones i've dug looks like so greenish you can barely see anything on the button!

Hi, and thanks for the comment, that is just one SC button before and after a cleaning. It came from an inland site where the soil isn't quite as nice but your right, the dime came from one of the coastal islands near Charleston where you pretty much rinse the sand off and the cleaning is done :)
