Phishfindr, if this machine is like all the others ever invented, if you're not in a hurry, you will get one at least $100 cheaper by May. There is always someone out there for health, financial or other reasons who dumps slightly used machines. I ought to know, I've done it myself.

i plan on going to Kellyco Monday (about 70 miles away). I know, the Equinox won't be there yet but need to get new headphones for my X-Terra. I bet the place will be buzzing with excitement. Wish they were closer. A cool place to hang out.

Thanks Smokey. I’m in no hurry. I took the F44 out today, purely driven by cabin fever, and I not only dug a 1991 clad quarter, but a dreaded pull tab to offset the win! It was cold and frozen digging, but 1st clad of 2018 is in the book!

Phishfindr, I only dug 2 pulltabs today, and in a field that generally has little trash, with the exception of iron. Bummer. The two seated dimes made up for it! Ground was frozen 3" and we busted through it with a small pick.

We can speculate but until we get our hands on them we cant say for sure. Someone will have to do some head-to-head testing against those detectors.

I will be talking /discussing what I am seeing. Will take a trend though for me to report on.
Need to see where Equnix fits into the detector model hierarchy with its overall performance.
