Oh I've been digging

I just haven't found much lately. This is a combo from my past 3 hunts. There wasn't one that was really worth a post by itself so here you go. I was only able to get out once last weekend because of the weather. I did make a few neat finds along the way, just not the scope I was hoping for. I can't wait until January, got some great stuff in the works! Thanks for looking & HH!

The railroad button and the shield with eagle look VERY interesting. Worth doing a little more homework. What's on the back of them?

The train button has an iron back, it's just an overall button but still a neat design. The eagle button is just the top of a WW1 great seal button, nothing special.

Very Nice !! I like that train button !!! Cap guns are also a lot of fun to find. I have been fooled by a couple thinking they were real !!!

Thanks for the post mt friend. I think the relic that takes the cake is that complete cap gun. Every one that I've dug is always broken.
Congrats on the 1800's flat buttons too.

Great finds Josh! At least you are getting out. I haven't been hunting at all. Hopefully that will change when I finish home renovations.

Now, ya see, it's not ALL about the posts and whether they're "post worthy" or not. It's about the sharing. When we ONLY post the stupendous finds, people get the wrong idea about what this hobby really does. ( and when we post those days of only p-tabs, people get bored. LOL ) ;)

Not only that, but when we don't hear from our friend Mangum, well, our lives are just a little less full. :)

I love the little pistol!

Ha! Yeah, I know what you mean. However, I wouldn't say these are "stupendous" finds. I've just been in sort of a slump in life & detecting but things are looking up. Thank you for kind words, I appreciate it!
