Yeah, so I've been buying the jars from Good Will, and getting a lot of watches in them. I figured I would make a watch lot. Last week I got a bunch, and I tossed them aside for when I had time to go through them. One of them is marked 14K on the back. Tonight I searched Ebay to see if this is a real brand. Uylsse Nardin!!! I opened it up, and it says 17 Jewels and has a serial number and a bunch of other information. I really think it is real!

Then I got a Girard watch that looks similar. Same band (Spiedel). The back scratched for 14K. I can't open it. How do I verify that?

I really, really hope that these are real ones and not fakes. BTW, I got a bunch of other ones that are real too. Name brands. No pictures; phone is charging.

So these are the watches I am either keeping or going to try to sell separate.

These are the known broken watches. Either they don't work or the band is broken.

My "Rolex". Hubby and son in law want to know how I know it's fake. Duh. The "18K" gold is rubbing off! LOL.

Working watches.

Watches I was too lazy to pull off the back and see if they work or not.

Woot. Watches are real. Jeweler won't buy them to sell, but he offered me $200 for each for scrap value. Man, what a find! Of a $45 jar with a 20% off coupon! I paid $40 for the jar, and that is on top of all the other great stuff that was in there.

I have an addiction. I can't stop stalking the Good Will stores trying to get jars. Is there a group for this? (I gave my husband my credit card and then took it back 3 days later.)
