for a piece of jewelry like that - solid gold does not discolor what so ever either

That is a photo with the dirt still on it , when I cleaned it was no tarnish

Excellent 1700's draped bust cent. I think you got into the club the difficult way - with a US coin. Personally I've dig more 1700's Spanish silver than large cents. Congrats!

I have a few kg II and iii and 1 Spanish 1/2 reale 1789 but yes that is the hard way American looking for the silver American now
