That's exactly what I said today. I went to my favorite "clad" park and really enjoyed myself. I had
taken a few days to get my mind right again. (the jury's still out :) )

Anyway, as I was getting ready to wind down from a rather pleasant walk, I got this trash can lid hit. I was
in such a good mood I just figured I'd clean up the park some more. I dug and saw this:

I saw the color, the size of the rim and I sat back on my heel and said "OH MY WORD!" LOL
But, then I noticed there wasn't a reeded edge so I figured it wasn't my 20 dollar gold piece. ;)

Still, it was a REALLY fun unveiling! :)

2014 (741).jpg

Sun shining, birds singing and this neat thing coming out of the ground! :)

2014 (740).jpg

The rest of the finds were just a bit of icing on a fine day in Autumn!

This thing weighs in at a whopping 40 plus grams!

Of course, Blingie's gotten in over his head again! LOL

Thanks for peeking!

I can see why you'd get a bit excited lol. The mind does terrible tricks on us when we see what we want to see, doesn't it? Nice " walk".

Cool find ! is lacrosse a big sport down there ?
I didn't know anyone in the U.S. played that.
at least not on the east coast.

Wow! Really super medal! :occasion18::blob3::occasion18:

Love friend Blingie! We have plastic realistic lizards roaming our flower pots on back patio. Had big plastic snake there for a while too, but I think the hawks got him, lol. Have fun keeping the coil to the soil! Andi

Yeah, lacrosse is pretty big "down under". ;)

What's the medal made of? Well, you see, I haven't checked because I'm still enjoying my pipe dream. So until that's over, it's pure gold. LOL ;)

The east coast of the USA is home to field lacrosse. For indoor lacrosse, you need to talk to our Canadian brothers. But both both versions are played throughout the U.S. and Canada... And worldwide.

It's all about the adrenaline rush, so gold is good, even when it's not.
