Let's see ... every dope-smoking hippie I ever knew wore out side 2 of this, the first multi-platinum album sold in the US. Side 1 sucked, sure, but this one song helped jump start all kinds of psychedelic/heavy metal/jam bands. Great rhythm pair on drums and bass, a 17-year old guitarist and an organist with a somewhat spooky voice. They were doing a sound check in the studio for a new song when the engineer hit the Record button, unknown to the band. They played it back and said, "Good thing we didn't stop. We'll take it".

Today, every indie garage band in the country has a half dozen CD's for sale. These guys didn't even have a record for sale when they performed this at Woodstock.
