I would also get a clarifier, a trowel or spade and somewhere to put the gold you find, like a glass or acrylic vial.

Then, hit the river! If it's private, make sure you have permission (nothing ruins a good day panning like a lead slug in the back) or if it's federal land make sure its not already claimed.

You'll need a sucker bottle too in order to pick up the fine gold and empty 5 gallon bucket to go with the classifier this is for classifying down the material to work it easier in the pan or you can just work classifier over your pan .

This is a good starting point loks like theres a bunch more videos you can watch, it just takes practice you can throw some lead BB's in the pan and some dirt and practice the lead BB's should be all thats left in the pan once done.
