Great pics Fossis....guess they're getting their last "shots" in before the frost comes ;D

Some of those look familiar. I sometimes believe that what is wild in Oklahoma are sold as regular flowers elsewhere; and vice versa.

I love wild flowers too! I used to pick some pretty purple flower when I was young and my momma always said it was a snake weed. ;D Believe me what Wes said is true...I belong to a "plant forum board" and some of the flowers pictured in gardens are so called weeds here. I have 3 plants/trees in my yard right now, that is considered against the law to plant in FL.

Yeah, these are mostly weeds, some three or four
foot tall.
Been eying some 'Lily pad' blooms, but they are about
all gone.
I want to get a 'paw-paw' plant started later, do you
have those in LA?, they call them OK bananas here,
they were all 'frost bitten' this year I believe.
PS, got Bill Gent fixed up. ;D
