This site has many old photos of amusement parks that will help you figure out where things used to be when you find a site to search. You have to scroll all the way down through, as there are two sections each for Canada, U.S. and Europe--one section is for "amusement parks of the past" and the other is for "amusement park rides of the past" --I actually found the best view of the entire park I was searching under amusement park rides, because they show the whole roller coaster and park from above.
