old auto part ID

Been detecting in an area where I’ve found old buggy parts, steps, etc.. Also found an old headlight case along with lots of metal parts to include the piece below, thinking there’s an old auto there as well.
The metal piece shown is about 5-6’ in width, probably 4’ in height. Any thoughts as to what this might be?

Maybe the dash & cowl section of an early car. Bars may be windshield mounts. The u shaped piece on the second picture between the two holes on the right would have held the steering column.
