reminds me of my great grandmothers collection. (she went to Montana in the late 1800's by covered wagon and train) she had two big jars of buttons like that. wonder what happened to them.

I remember going through my grandmothers jars of buttons and they looked like those.
I think my aunt got them when granny died back in 1993.
