Had another outing with the boys at the 93rd site. Weather was great and the digging was none stop.
Here is a shot of the emptied pouch.

Cleaned them up a bit.

Hears the beaver and Injun head. I think it's Canadian engineers.

2 more militia buttons and a old Dungarees fastener.

A couple of crusty copper's 1799 and 1832 token.

Anyone know what this is? It weighs 7 1/4 lbs, brass covering filled with cast iron.

It also has a loop hole at the top. I was thinking it might be a clanger from a very large Bell?
Any suggestions appreciated.

That is one nice site you guys got there.

Good finds, no doubt a few keepers left there yet ?

Be one heck of a nice pit dig site, every time you dig a plug there it's got glass, pottery, teeth, leather and the likes.

Some cool buttons there. I've only found one Canada Militia button and it was pretty crusty. I did find a Nova Scotia Militia from the Victorian period which was in decent nick.
