Been searching an old church in PA. Finds include: 1893 Columbian half dollar, 1876-s seated quarter, 1876 seated dime, 1904 Barber dime, 1907 & 1890 Indian head pennies, 1867 Italian 5 Centesimi,
18-- Swiss 1 Franc silver coin, 1908 French 50 Centimes silver coin, 1909-B Swiss 10 Rappen, 1855 French 10 Centimes, 1913 French 5 Centimes. Assorted leads toy soldiers and horse. Oval coin is early form of credit card for John Wanamaker Co. large round buckle no markings, Old buttons, 2 Daniel K. Miller push key padlocks, musket ball and fragment, 2 Solide suspender buckles, CH Guyot suspender brace, Large bullet and shotgun shells dating back to 1890's. Tankard lid and bell.

It was a little bent and corroded. Had to use a magnifying glass to identify it. By the way, all to these items have been donated back to the chUrch for them to display.

It's a safe bet that this site wasn't hunted before. That's a lot of good finds. I like the fact that you donated the finds to the church to display. Very commendable. :thumbsup:

My wife works for the church so I was able to get permission to search several fields near the church. It definitely has not been searched before. I have found many silver coins from the 40's and 50's. I will be searching there for a long time to come.
