Very cool stuff. I am curious what the token says. I can only see the word "ONLY".

Do not use electrolysis to clean them. The best method is a hot hydrogen peroxide bath. For instructions, see this post: http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,39135.0.html

Neil,

The token says "For amusement only No Cash or Trade Value"

Nice assortment of old stuff! :icon_thumright: You might want to go back to that site and hunt it again and listen to the faint deep signals.

Your story reminds me of my vacation in Pennsylvania several years ago. I was driving through a very small town outside of York PA and saw a small church with a bronze sign that said: "Built in 1867". I asked the pastor if I could metal detect it and he said "have fun". In the back of the church I pulled out a 1884 seated dime! Church property can be good sites!

Yes I am definitely thinking of going back if my friend ever does maybe sometime in November or December when the Chuch won't be too concerned with me digging holes on the grounds. We were hoping to find some Gilver that day, but alas no luck!
