Just dug this and it has seen better days. One side is completely toasted but there may be enough on one side to id it. Anyone recognize what it is? I see a face and letters where a date should be. I'm assuming the date in Roman numerals under the exergue line is [M]DCCX[XI]I or something similar which would be 1721 (?). Doesn't appear to be that old or a coin, so my guess is some sort of token.

Yes, Conder token is the correct spelling, MLCCXCI = 1791

It's a very nice find!
 

Thats token number two in rough shape. Im just glad they are still identifiable at least! [emoji106]
 

Just call it by its proper name, easier to spell. '18th century provincial tokens':laughing7:
