1808 Classic large cent. Very toasty when I found it. Little steel wool and tooth pick produced id. 1849 half cent in decent shape. Gilted Prolly Railroad button.

Congrats on the half cent those don't come up too often. One would think that anywhere you find large cents you'd find half cents but in my 3-4 years detecting I've found a good amount of large cents and no half cents. Way fewer were minted.

They didnt make a 1839 half cent. Maybe its an 1849. Braided hair half cents are nearly impossible to dig. Only 2 or 3 have been posted on here in last five years. Congrats
