I found these coin years ago, long before I was ever toying with idea of metal detecting. Thought I would throw up a quick pic . I worked as remodel carpenter for years and wondered if I would ever that elusive cash stash in in wall when demolition stage of remodel was in progress. I never did, but did find this pile of coins in the basement of an older building in down town Denver . We were building storage units in the basement and simply found them on a foundation ledge. 1913 penny being the oldest coin. I like the large pennies and half penny coins. Coins from Africa, aluminum franc coins from WWII era....... Cool little stash of coins. I would be super excited if I found a stash like this with my detector. Anyway, just thought I would share. I will get a few more pics and post. Happy hunting.
