Depends on conditions. All the seals should be replaced. The old swords were great detectors and Kellyco still works on and modifies them in their repair center.

$600 is good price if it's in good working condition..

Speaking of which, does the mod work done by kellyco come with any warranty?

Guarantee it is working when it leaves, they will cover leakage on excal seals if it leaks there, not the thumb switch if you damage the rubber skirt. It does nothing to the excal controls but need new thumb switch.

I damaged the skirt on one of mine, it cost me $10 to replace it, you can call and get parts and do it yourself it is simple insert and silicone skirt. I have had mod on mine for almost 1.5 years, I damaged the rubber skirt on one and put a tiny hole in the rubber skirt which caused the switch to get water. What is nice is it is easy to replace the thumb switch and you silicone the rubber skirt back on. It doesn't affect the stock controls....

We are all so far apart yet so close. Will do.
