I went to a yard sale today and asked the guy for watches. He said he had a whole bunch of them but he was going to set them out at his next yard sale. Told him Id pay top dollar and he said that’s OK he rather set them out at the sale. Which drove me nuts because it’s probably going to be a dollar apiece. Who knows when their next sale will be.

But I started looking around and saw this globe under the table. Had a sticker $20 on it. I figured it’s worth it! Old terrestrial globe? Saw some prices on eBay and they seem to be pretty high. the condition of mine is I guess so-so.

Also some fire king. I just remember the name from you guys, for some reason I thought Snoopy was good and I thought all of it was good. I’m not sure I haven’t found this whole set yet. I’m going to guess maybe $40 return? It was five dollars for all pieces. Eight plates and 10 cups.

The last sale was all video games. Two dollars each and bought all 15 of them for $30.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

I used to collect Fire King. Jadeite and Snoopy is worth a little money. The solid color retro pieces are also a pretty easy sell. I believe you have a pattern called blue bonnet or bluestem. I had some on ebay and it took around a year to sell. I think you made some pretty good money on it but it may sit a while before it sells.

Vintage jadeite always sells well, whether by Fire King, Jeanette, McKee, L.E.Smith etc. I got rid of most of mine over the last few years. I had my own kitchen cabinets full of it. http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/g...first-post-fireking-wedgwood.html#post2683356 As far as mugs go, The best are the old heavy c handled restaurantware mugs, the D handles do well also. Snoopy does well as does the McD's and about any advertising ones. I still have a box of mugs and some misc. in the garage.

Cool globe by the way. 8-)

Thanks! I did a double look after I made this post and realized that the fire king I bought is not really worth alot. I think I’ll try to on Facebook before eBay see if I can sell locally and get at least 20 bucks. Again this is why I stick to the same things I know but Somethings are hard to leave!
