Hello, folks. I love this hobby so as a retired guy spend a lot of time at it. I jumped into MD'ing this Spring when I bought a Tesoro Compadre from a great guy who was happy to show me the ropes. Since, I have acquired an AT Pro and a Gold Master II. The AT Pro and I are great companions, scouring the local parks, sport fields, river and lake beaches and even a ghost town hunt this summer. I've stuck with the ATP's stock DD coil for my highly mineralized soil (90-92) and that seems able to sort through the trash well. The GM II is a bit more to learn, but I'm looking forward to hitting some tailings around the Northwest with it and the ATP.
Reading the postings here keeps me hungry for the hunt, going out with more knowledge every time I visit here. Thank you, and I will try to contribute stuff of interest myself.
