Late 19th cent home, hit it with a new program with the Deus and its a hot spot. Can't wait to get back. The buckle item is extremely heavy. Any input welcome.

These last two buttons need cleaning up yet.
There was also a farm where this area is now that was settled in the early 1800's. I am most curious about the buckle and the 'B' tag and the button with what appears the might have stars on it. I know further cleaning is nessesary.

the coin like item is actually a civil war token . I found one just like it, as have others on this forum.
Very nice

show the other side of the token if you would because there are a number of varieties.

Nice producing site. There are surely more goodies hidden in the dirt just waiting for the magic beeping sound to secure their freedom!

Go GET 'EM!

Interesting. What differentiates it between a watch or key fob?
Normally the size & metal type. So as this looks a little small & more copper than brass you maybe right. (Had a closer look)

Thanks ..I know very little about brasses, although I have seen some rather fancy round ones.

Plenty of sizes & shapes (this is close to normal), the size is not too small to be one, but the loop is not quite the normal shape either.

I thought of brass straight away because of the shape & they did also put letters on. I also assumed they were the horse owners initials but I guess it could be the horses name...lol
