Hi all - I found this badge yesterday and after much cleaning and pictures taken to magnify on the computer I found it to be an advertising fob from Green River Whiskey from 1910. It says she was bred in Old Kentucky and has a picture of an upturned horse shoe with a man and a horse in the middle on the front. On the back is, "Used for the Past 12 Years by the U. S. Marine Hospital Service. Highest Awards * Paris, 1900; St. Louis, 1904; Liege, 1905; Portland, 1905; Milan, Italy, 1906; Jamestown, 1907." Apparently these are various locations of world fairs. This is what makes this hobby so much fun.
