I have a Metal Detector i got from a estate sale a few weeks ago, its a Sears model # 321596330 which I think is made by White
I am very new to metal detecting and wanted to know if it is a good machine to learn on ?
Also I am planning to take it to the beach later this year
I would appreciate any input :hello2:

I don,t know how old or what model it is. Bury some coins and misc. trash 4 to 6 inches deep and see if it will sound off on them. If it does, then you can practice on those targets to learn what the different items sound like. There are many people still hunting with older machines and they do very well.
Have fun
Steve

even old machines will find stuff as long as they are working properly. the finds have not changed just the technology. I agree with steve, learn your machine and as you find more and better stuff, it soon will pay for a new detector with all the bells and whistles.

Happy Hunting!
