Cru'dad & I did our usual short hunt today & nearly finished off the Roman Site. (I will finish off the rest soon)
Quite a few scrappies for such a short hunt plus a couple of nice finds.
Ground was wet but the sun was out, so the layers were off...
Cru'dad 2 hrs 15 mins & Me 2 hrs & 45 mins.

1920 Sixpence
Saxon 6/7th C Chip Carved Mount/Brooch? (Fragment)
William I 'the Lion' 1165-1214 Scottish cut Halfpenny of Roxburgh Mint - Scarce find
2 Unusual Lead Token's; 1 Coping a George II Farthing but with a Cross on the reverse & a more interesting dated one;
J (crossed I) B over 1746, with Anchor on Reverse.
