I was really looking forward to going out to an old school that was built in the 1920's. Finally took the time to go look. I was just going to look for coins this trip. All I could find were modern coins and dug up alot just nothing old. This place had been searched many times I guess. Every hit I got was 2"-6" deep. Nothing below that. They took all the good stuff. So moved to a spot where I found the old button I use as Avatar. Found an old window lock, a couple of two hole metal buttons and an antique spoon made by R.W. &S Sterling. With W initial.
Also need an ID. The rectangular looking object. I've found two of these in the past and just threw them out. Dont know if it's very old? Wondering what it may have been used for. Maybe some type of union or coupling between two pieces of leather or canvas cloth? It's about 1 1/2" wide.

Nice!!! Congrats!!! Cool spoon!!

Good collection. The spoon is by Wallace & Sons of Connecticut in a pattern known as "Tipped", which was introduced in 1890
