Old school looks promising... Is this a toy gun?

Here are the finds from a short school hunt. A 1925 dime, 1919 penny and bent silver ring with some makers marks. I also found what I believe is a small toy gun. Is that what that is? I will eventually travel back to this school for some more metal detecting. This was a short hunt from a early 1900s school
