Old Schoolhouse

Went out today to search an old schoolhouse, no luck, but didn't really go inside, the building is in bad shape, just detected around it. And if anyone asks, this old schoolhouse is on our property. I can just imagine how many kids went to this little one room school, and all the generations that went to it. I love the history of it.

What an awesome place! Like you, I am sitting here contemplating the history of the place and the lives affected....so much happened there and would be cool to find some little pieces of that history too! Can't wait to see what all you find as you do more detecting!
