I have seen where at least one digger polished up and sealed his shotgun shells and mounted them in holes on a board. It looked pretty cool.
I like it! I would like to find one from the 19th century with the huge brass casing.

That is a nice find. That particular head stamp dates from 1901 - 1910. Start your display case !
