Found this in the woods...(near an old school and jail) in an area where i have been finding stuff from the late 1800's. Obviously they are two spoons bent together...but why? Was it for a reason? Probably just some kid just goofing around with the spoons mom packed in his lunch? Who knows? I dont. Thanks for looking.

Didn't pay much attention to Uri Geller, back when... Did he bend stainless as well as sterling?

Might have been a string alarm. they hang the spoons on a string and it clatters if the string is disturbed.

I tried all sorts of searches because this is too symmetrical to not be known.

Just one thing, though, these look more like ladels and not spoons. Just smaller ladels for sauce.

Anyway, I would keep them, you never know, someone may pop up one day with a set and know what they are.
