Hi everyone my name is Don. I just like old stuff. And researching the history that goes along with it it can be very interesting. I found this steamer trunk in an attic the other day. Does anyone know who the maker was? Or how old this trunk is? I can’t find any marks on it anywhere. There was a tag inside the trunk. But all the writing has worn off. Thanks for your help.

Hi Don,

Should we assume you've searched images of antique trunks and lensed your photo?

I would also search identifying antique trunks
There are websites dedicated to that topic specifically.

Now the question we're all thinking....

What's IN it? Hmmm?

Yes I did Google lens. I found out the Dome top steamer trunks were the older ones. I just figured I would ask on here. You know what they say. “It never hurts to ask”. Thought maybe someone on here might have some information on these early steamer trunks. The workmanship on these is amazing. Thanks for your response.
