Old Town Negaunee??

Hi guys, long time listener, first time caller...I was wondering if anyone ever bought the permit and detected old town Negaunee? I've thought about it for a few years but never got around to it. I imagine its been hit hard over the years, so I'm looking for opinions on whether or not it's worth it to buy the permit. I read some older threads and saw one guy who lived near me who might know, but sadly it looks like he died in 2011, Author Man if anyone knew him..but yea, just wondering what your opinions were on getting the permit and checking out that area.

The town leaders have way too much time on their hands to waste the time to put that together. Been to Negaonee once and that was enough
