Very strange...it is 1300' x 1600' or almost 48 acres. We have areas like that down here but the roads are still there. They were old oilfield company town sites. Looks like a fun research or road trip! :thumbsup:

I went ahead and posted this question on the X Marks the Spot forum maybe someone who uses Google Earth a lot will know what it is.

It sorta looks like the makings of a subdivision where the lot grading was completed but the actual development never materialized for some reason.
