Found these great coins in an old yard I finally got permission to hunt. I just sold my Spectrum XLT and DeLeon, and bought a minelab Explorer XS, and a Golden Hawk, hope to increase my good luck greatly with the explorer, the golden hawk is a gold machine, goin prospecting next spring, ooooooooooo clementine !!!!!
Anyway theold yard was at a house built in 1887, I will be going back next week to get the really deep stuff with my explorer, hope to anyway. Enjoy the images.

That is an amazing amount of silver! This place has obviously not been it before.

How deep were most of these items?

Great digs my friend! Wishes for continued luck at this place! congrats!

hey beetle, the yard was not detected before, a cranky old man owns it, just by chance he has given me permission, all finds were in the same day, about 6 hours of hunting, also loads of old cast cars and assorted relics came up too. most targets were between 4 and 7 inches, one merc was dug at 9 inches, I just know there are more there, I don't have a metal detector right now, sold mine over the week end on ebay, my explorer will be here Monday or Tue. goin back 4 sure. Also the old K of C I hunted and posted recently, has been demolished and about 6 inched taken off the top soil, and me with no detector, waaaaaaa. That's whwre I will head first next week.

Nice coin finds! Will you post pictures of the relics you found? I like seeing relics better than coins, seems like more history is attached to them.
